The Promise about to begin it’s 20th anniversary season. If in the past 19 years, you’ve not had the chance to get up to the Texas Amphitheater and watch the show, try to get up there this season!! The pre-shows this season will be featuring The Brooks Brothers and Allen Asbury.

The Promise is a passion play portraying the life of Jesus Christ. This play has been performed in Glen Rose, Texas, Branson, Missouri, Russia, and South Korea. The uniqueness of it’s performances in Glen Rose is that this is where it all started. Performing on Friday & Saturday nights under the stars at the Texas Amphitheater is where it all started.

Something new just opened in Glen Rose. A huge 50 acre Dinosaur park! This is something else that going to attract visitors to our beautiful area. They have over 100 life size dinosaurs for viewers to see. They have a gift shop, and some child activities including a fossil dig! With more attractions coming our way, it’s bound to be good for the real estate market here in our town.
